What is A/B split testing in email marketing?

A/B split testing in email marketing refers to a method used to determine the most effective email elements in order to optimise engagement and conversions. By comparing two (or more) versions of an email campaign, marketers can identify which version resonates best with their target audience. Split testing is usually applied on subject line, or email creative, but modern email marketing platforms can also split test based on revenue generated (if it’s an e-commerce website).
